Gregory A. Harvey

Biography

Rev. Gregory A. Harvey had to step down from the Music and Senior Adults Church Ministry he loved after serving only 13 years. His lumbar spine failed and the attempts to correct it failed, leaving him forced to accept disability and live, managing chronic pain as his new full time occupation.

But the story doesn't end there...

He has risen above the fatigue, depression and stress that comes with chronic lumbar pain and tries to live his life as an encourager to others who struggle with pain. He uses his talents as his limitation allows and desires to be a positive influence in this world. Thus the book: "Finding God Faithful in Turbulent Times". Greg shares his own life faith story and how God has proven Himself faithful through it all...grief, loss, depression, fatigue and stress.

Smashwords Interview

How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It has offered a venue for my writing, other than my publisher, which reaches people around the world. I am so happy to be able to help others manage their own life struggles through my experience with chronic pain.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I would have to say the feel of the key strokes under my fingers! Honestly, I keep a day book, writing the events of everyday happenings, just so I can type and stay relevant even after I've passed away at the someday ripe old age of 120!
