I was born in Mitchell in The Outback of Australia. It informed my career as a story teller, story editor, and writer in television (Neighbours), film and publishing.
Geoffrey Dean (writer) described Corrugated Roads - A Bugger of a Kid - as "a gritty telling and a book I couldn't put down. And, in spite of its serious subject matter, there is relief in the unexpected humour that arises out of the girl's imaginative misconceptions about events beyond her experience."
