G. Wayne Jackson, Jr

Biography

G. Wayne Jackson, Jr. was born in southern California. He attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn where he graduated with a degree in political science. He has also earned two master degrees in finance and psychology, respectfully.

Jackson joined the United States Army after high school and was stationed in Germany. After his military service, he was hired as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines. During his tenure as a flight attendant, he was based in Detroit and in New York City. He worked as a branch manager for CitiFinancial.

After the financial meltdown in 2008, he moved to the stability of the Federal Government. He continued to flourish in this new position and received a series of promotions. Despite being involved in an abusive relationship for many years during much of his previous relationship, Jackson continued to persevere. He lives with the mantra, "If you persevere through your trials and tests, something better is waiting for you."

English was not one of G. Wayne’s favorite school subjects, but he seemed to excel in writing courses. He had a knack for writing. After talking about wanting to write a book and much procrastination Jackson took time to just write. Forced Out of the Darkness is the result of the writing. Throughout this writing process, G. Wayne found a passion that had been hidden deep inside his heart. He soon found a love for putting his thoughts in writing. His imagination was able to work overtime to skillfully develop fictitious plots.

In 2014, Jackson became a published author. Jackson is an avid reader, lover of music and the arts. He is currently working on his sophomore project, which is expected to be out in the fall of 2014.

G. Wayne is available for book signing events, speaking engagements and public appearances.

Who are your favorite authors?
I have many different authors that I am a fan of. I love the works of the late E. Lynn Harris. I love and respect Ricc Rollins, James Earl Hardy, Kevin E. Taylor, Lee Hayes, and Toni Morrison to name a few.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am at home with my partner and dogs. Family is very important to me, so I spend a lot of time with family and friends.
