Geoffrey Kerman

Geoffrey Kerman (Geoff) is an elementary school teacher in Ontario, Canada. His career in education, as well as volunteering and his own life experience, has given him a lot of insight into what boys and men go through when trying to define themselves and what it means to be a man.

Geoff is passionate about helping others, as well as his own growth as a man. He sees himself as a work in progress and does not see himself as a guru or expert on manhood, masculinity or even writing. He has a wide range of interests, ranging from reading, writing (obviously), science fiction, self-help, volunteering, working out when he remembers to (or gets his butt in gear), his cats, women, Latin and ballroom dancing, acting, humour, and writing third person mini biographies.

To Be a Man is his first book, but probably won’t be his last. He’s currently waiting for the Inspiration Fairy to strike again.
