This is a great gook to take to the beach to read because it is short and a joy to read. Takes place in San Francisco around present times. The author has a special way of describing characters, places and events without giving so much detail that you feel that you are hand fed the story. Matchmaking whether you agree or disagree with the concept is the basis for the story and how one young girls desire to avoid this lifestyle at all costs.
In the interest of fair desclosure I would recommend this book even if my wife didn't write it.
This is a great story adding to TAC 1 and takes the character, Sandy through trials. She has to work out relationships with family, the new job and new relationships. The author has a great way of developing character and describing events and places that the reader feels that they are there with the character. It is written in first person so you have to stay right with Sandy the entire time.
In the interest of fair disclosure, I would like this book even if my wife didn't write it.
