This is such a great book! I am so glad I found it. There are not many books out there that cast witches in a good light, but this one does. I love how the author weaved in real elements of wicca in with the fantasy. Very well done and definitely worth the $.99 I paid for it!

When I first saw this advertised as a modern day Phantom, I thought it was going to be another tired rendition of Erik and Christine, with the same kind of ending they all have. I was wrong. This story is fresh and exciting. The characters aren't modern day versions of Erik and Christine. They are just playing those roles in their school play and their own life starts to mirror some of the events. Its ties in both the Phantom of the Opera musical and the classic novel, but its completely its own story. This book had me hooked from the first pages. It has touching elements of romance, but it also has spine tingling thrills. As a pagan, I was impressed with the realistic relationships between Justyn and his mother. It makes the story even more unique. The ending...oh my goddess...I don't even know what to say! I can't say much without ruining the story. But I can say this.. it will leave you shocked and disturbed, but still desperately longing for more from these rich and complicated characters.

This was an amazing book. It is filled with Celtic lore with its own unique twist. There are witches, werewolves, and faeries as well as some original mythical creatures like Guardians and Gatekeepers. Morrigan's journey is wrought with danger at every turn making it an epic fantasy that even LOTR fans will appreciate. It features mega strong female characters that are a great example for teen girls, yet the story will appeal to people of all ages. The climax was the most amazing part of all. It features a battle of the elements unlike anything I have ever read. It would be fantastic as a movie!! Just sayin...And the last chapter will leaves you satisfied but with a glimmer of hope that there might be more to come.

This is one terrific thriller. All the characters were realistic and easy to relate to. There is lots of action but romance too. The ending was a real nail biter. I never saw it coming. I totally love that hot guy on the cover. He fits the main character perfectly and brought the story to life for me even more.

I read Phantom, the first book in this series, and it was amazing. I didn't think it was possible to top it, yet somehow, Demon managed to pull it off. Justyn and Becca are starting a new life in college, but there are definitely some challenges along the way. There is a lot more competition then when they were in high school, and this time around, they won't both be the stars. To make matters worse, there is a Gothic girl named Livy who wants to steal a lot more than the show. She totally wants to steal Justyn too. But the biggest trial they face is the serial rapist who is attacking the girls on the campus. Will Becca be a victim and if she is, can her relationship with Justyn survive it? This is something you'll have to read the book to learn. The Dark Musicals Trilogy is an amazing an refreshing take on the YA genre. The author has stepped away from the "para-NORM" and gone a whole new route. Not only are these books original thrillers that have both left me shocked at their conclusion, they also introduce a younger regeneration to classic novels and Broadway musicals in a way they can relate to and appreciate. In my opinion, this makes them a masterpiece in their own right.
