Gary D. Greene is a screenwriter currently earning his BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. His flash fiction story “Recycle Day” is published in Down in the Dirt magazine (http://scars.tv/dirt/dirt145may17/Hands_that_Hurt.htm).
His time in the USMC influenced him to explore the darker parts of the human psyche in his writing, then make “light” of them using terrible puns. He enjoys a beer or five and playing with his beautiful Labrador/Rottweiler/Sharpei mutt named Ruhe (pronounced “Roo”).
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Playing with words. Molding sentences and paragraphs like a sculptor molds clay.
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien, Hunter S. Thompson. To name just a few.
This is a collection of flash fiction about some unsavory characters. These are the guys that make you quicken your pace as you pass them on the street; that inspire you to roll up your window and exceed the speed limit. Some have redeeming qualities, but most are just plain assholes.
