What does your fans mean to you?
Which fans? Just kidding. I don't like the word "fan". What does that mean? That the other readers are the fans? And I am what? A star? Oh NO!!! I think everybody who listens inside and who looks carefully on the world can be a writer. Like everybody can be a painter. Of course it's nice to have success and a lot of people download your books. When a book gets downloaded I have the feeling to move something. And not only locally or in my country as it was at the times of printed books. Now at the times of the internet the idea that everybody in the world could be your reader is exciting. To be a part of something big and to have the opportunity to make "THE WORLD" to a better place. That's my main driving force to write. Therefore I am glad about every download.
What is your writing process?
Actually I can't say that exactly. Maybe I don't get the meaning of the question. But it sounds to me as if the writing process is something that happens straight, ordered and rationally. For me this is not the case. At least not always. I remember times when writing was a valve for my soul. That I was confused and troubled and my writing helped me to sort my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes I write because I feel inspired by something that happens outside. But my writing has always more to do with my heart and soul than with my brain and rationality. Something must be important to me, I must feel touched by something. Than I can write about it. For that I need silence.
