  • Buying the Virgin Box Set - Volume One - Seven Days on Aug. 04, 2018

This set consists of books 1-5 in the series following Charlotte. She's been through a shattering arranged marriage only to find out her "husband" didn't like women. Now, she needs to start over and find a way to go to college without her parent's help, since they can not afford it. The only thing she can think of to sell that will bring in that kind of money is to sell her virginity at auction. Book 1 follows her through the auction. The winner will be given total control and ownership of her for 1 full week. Once the final bid is placed, Her master James gives her the option of raising additional money if she agrees to additional partners. Book 2 has Charlotte meeting her Master's friend and 2nd partner, Michael. This BDSM will keep your heart racing and your lady parts wet. Following these 3 characters has been an exhilarating adventure.
  • Buying the Virgin Box Set Two on Aug. 14, 2018

This box set includes: The Virgin's Holiday, The Virgin's Christmas, The Virgin's Valentine, The Virgin's Master, The Virgin's Lover, The Virgin's Fantasies, and The Virgin's Choice. Simone Leigh takes our Triad (James, Michael and Charlotte) from Charlotte returning for a visit after her initial week is over through Christmas Break and finally ending when the Summer holiday is about to begin. Her characters are interactive, passionate and always compelling. The storyline is riveting allowing the reader to engage within the scenes and let their own imagination flow. What an addictive series. Here's hoping for more.
  • The Sassy Submissive on July 03, 2019

OMG, this book will captivate your imagination, keep your system revved and make you wonder why you hadn't thought of this. Golden Angel has given us a storyline that is relatable to those wanting to venture into BDSM and what they might find there. The characters she has given a home to are drool worthy, with personalities that will make you literally want them for your own circle of friends. This is a book of discovery with characters that are continually growing into themselves add the excitement of BDSM and you have the perfect romance. What a wonderful beginning to what looks to be a terrific series.
  • Doves and Demons (Taking Flight Book 1) on July 12, 2019

I have to say, this was a riveting story. S. Marie Rose sucked me in with her world building and her characters are certainly relatable. I quite enjoyed the book with it's mystery and danger. I just have one suggestion for this author. Please, please get a beta group or a better editor. The spelling and grammatical errors certainly take away from a job well done. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • Sorcery & Subterfuge on Oct. 02, 2019

This collection contains the following stories: 1. Ereolon’s Day of Demons 2. Prince of Runeguard 3. Sceptre of Tanara 4. The Enemy Crown 5. Colour of Silence 6. Ryokin Master I really wasn't quite sure what to expect when I agreed to read this ARC. What I received were six very short, quick reads that quite literally contained sorcery and subterfuge just like the title suggested. Each has a short, quick read. Truthfully I felt like I came in the middle of some of these and then they ended so quickly, I was trying to catch up with myself. Each was well written but there just wasn't enough substance there for me. Perhaps it's just me and someone else will enjoy them more. I'm giving it a three-star for what was there, I just wish there was more to each one.
  • Love By The Waters on May 25, 2020

Simone Leigh is one of those authors that I tend to drop everything to read whatever new she has written or re-read one of her books if I don't have another commitment. This short, easy read was written like it was a fantasy playing out right in front of my eyes. What a deliciously, thought provoking storyline that made me want to take a vacation. I'd so recommend this book.
  • Lucian on Feb. 10, 2021

If you read the blurb about the book, it gives you an over-all synapsis of the story. What I love about Kathi S. Barton's book is the fact they always have such an intriguing storyline and a plot that seamlessly runs through the entire story. The twists and turns, the plethora of emotion, the chemistry, and instant acceptance of a shifter. What really sets this one up for me? The hero and his family are poor and the heroine is the wealthy one. The entire scenario is flipped which is exciting to me. Great job. Now I can't wait to read Josiah.
  • Beth - A Steamy Tale of Friendship and Self Discovery on March 02, 2021

OMG, reading this after everything we've been through with Beth was definitely a wonderful experience. All the emotions, the trials, the battles she's fought, even her dreams. It's made me want to re-read the series which I intend to start after writing this review. If you've read "Bought by the Billionaire", you're going to want these bits just to fill in some of the blanks. If you haven't read this series yet, what a great time to start. It's just a beautiful journey with so many twists and turns you'll become hooked like the rest of us.
  • From the Deeps on July 09, 2021

'From the Deeps' is the first book in Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon's "The Seven Wardens" series. If you missed the prequel, 'Beyond the Loch', it gives a bit of the preamble which certainly helped me along with this one. Our heroine is a kelpie princess named Macey. She and her twin brothers have been living on Earth for the past three years as humans in a small village and Macey is beyond bored with her life and annoyed with her siblings. She wants excitement, adventure, anything but what she currently has. Then the power goes out one night and goes out looking for her brothers in a thick mist and winds up tripping over them, getting knocked out and kidnapped to another world. Let the adventure begin. If you read the blurb then you know this is a reverse harem based on Scottish mythology …. While throwing in a few paranormals. Definitely has potential.
  • Trio - Three Short Stories on Aug. 22, 2021
    (no rating)
This book contains the following previously published short stories: 1. VIKING Simone Leigh continues to amaze me with her talents. "Viking" is a short, quick read that truly just captures a moment in time for Tania. One moment she's made a decision about her void of life and the next she's more alive than she's ever been. I have to say, I really would like to see this brief interlude turned into a full storyline. My mind is running rampant with all the possibilities that could happen. I loved it. 2. LOVE BY THE WATERS Simone Leigh is one of those authors that I tend to drop everything to read whatever news she has written or re-read one of her books if I don't have another commitment. This short, easy read was written like it was a fantasy playing out right in front of my eyes. What a deliciously, thought-provoking storyline that made me want to take a vacation. I'd so recommend this book. 3. DANCING I'm trying to find a way to give you an honest review of this short story. I was so captivated by Simone Leigh's words the story was there and gone before I even realized it but then, it has stayed with him over a period of time trying to write this. I think the best thing that came I got out of this story is perception. Whether it's reality or imagination, it all depends on the perception you have when looking at it.
