Five miles south of Red Rock Canyon on highway 14 in California’s Mojave desert is a place called Jawbone, a simple junction with a small roadside store that unknowingly sells much more than a cold drink to weary travelers. Jawbone is a place, both a leaving point and a destination, a place of mystery, discovery and the apprehension of God’s grace. A deeply soulful journey by Gary Villamor.
Peculiar People
Price: $4.95 USD. Words: 65,210. Language: English. Published: March 1, 2011. Categories: Nonfiction » Religion and Spirituality » Christianity
Peculiar People is a heartfelt and inspiring journey through ten chapters of "ideas" and reflections on what it truly means to walk with Christ, living your live in harmony with His grace and love. The book is almost poetic at times as Villamor presents a kind of stream of consciousness that might arise from his own daily prayer or meditation on the meaning of his life with Christ.
