Hayley Scholtz

Hayley Scholtz has finally published a book! It took 6 months and a lot of hounding by her husband. With luck, she might actually finish a full length novel before she dies.

In her former life, Hayley was a graphic designer. Occasionally, she still freelances to pay the bills.

Her ideal Saturday involves coffee, quiet children and a really good book. Her literary heroes include Terry Pratchett, Dr Zeuss and Gary Larson.

If you enjoyed reading her first book, please let her know. She has lots more titles in the works and her husband would really like to give up his day job.

Hayley lives in South Africa with her husband, two kids and a geriatric dog.

Smashwords Interview

Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King (especially his later work), Terry Pratchett, Deborah Harkness and Joe Abercrombie. You can tell I like fantasy, right? But I'll read anything as long as it's well written.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Honestly, I have no idea. My days are a blur of feeding kids, dropping kids, fetching kids, walking the dog, and preparing meals. A lot of meals. Occasionally, I do actual grown up work (I am a graphic designer). But my family is my main priority.
