Heath P. Boice
A college administrator for twenty years, Heath P. Boice knows about college life. He takes this experience and uses it as the foundation for his unique series of "cozy" novels. His most recent work, "Missing by the Midway" begins his exciting new Ocean Grove Mystery series, paying homage to his former home, Ocean Grove, NJ. This is a relaunch of his original, "Mystery 101" series.
Heath has received both regional and national recognition for his professional work in college administration, boasting over 50 publications and convention presentations on topics including: Careers and Wellness, Judicial Affairs, Peer Mentorship, and Senior Transition Programs. Heath holds a BA in Public Communications (radio/television) and a MS Ed in College Student Personnel and Counseling from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. He also holds a Doctorate in Education from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. This has led him to a successful career as a college dean and college instructor at both private and public schools, most recently as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
Before working in education, Heath worked both on and off air at radio and television stations as a news anchor, writer, producer, and feature talk show host.
When not working with college students or writing, Heath enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters in their Rochester, NY home. He also enjoys gardening, cooking, and reading... mostly mysteries, of course. For more about Heath P. Boice, go to www.101mysteries.com
