H.C. Huber is a passionate writer living in New York City. Inspired by her own past life regressions and their effect on her life, Huber wrote her debut novel, The Many Lives of Nathan James, to inspire an audience of lost readers to find their passion and explore the unexplained. Huber is currently working on her second novel, geared toward the Adult genre, and it will be completed early next year.
When did you first start writing?
Kindergarten. I won a coveted "short story" contest and have been hooked ever since. My prize winning piece included some poorly drawn scenes, which I promise won't make an appearance in my later works.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I have always found the idea of past lives to be fascinating. Having experienced loss at a young age, I was always searching for some kind of explanation as to why these terrible things happen. When I began researching past lives and reading different accounts of regression, I fell in love the the idea of souls moving together throughout lifetimes. It gives such a bigger meaning to the word soulmates.
Desperate to reignite his creative passion, Nathan James and his girlfriend Liv make an appointment with the renowned Dr. Rose to regress into their past lives, in hopes of sparking inspiration. Through a skeptical eye, Nathan embarks on an unexpected journey through the fatal mistakes of his past, discovering that this pattern has followed him into the present.
