Mary Dalgleish

I have worked as a practising complementary health therapist since 1999. After experiencing the power of complementary therapies in improving my own health and wellbeing, I studied Aromatherapy at the Tisserand Institute in London (where I later worked as a tutor and student mentor). After that first course, my interest in holistic healing was aroused and I went on to study a range of disciplines including Reflexology, Ear Candling, Ayurvedic Foot Massage, Natural Face Lift Massage and Indian Champissage (traditional head massage) with the late Narendra Mehta at the London Centre of Indian Champissage. I worked with Narendra Mehta for many years and still continue to teach courses on behalf of the London Centre of Indian Champissage.
I am a qualified and experienced teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education. I now use my teaching skills in the field of complementary therapies teaching Anatomy & Physiology, Indian Head Massage, Facial Rejuvenation (Natural Face Lift Massage), Natural Facials, Ayurvedic Foot Massage and Ear Candling courses both in the UK and in Ireland. I also run my own busy complementary therapy practice near Wimbledon in South West London.
I have co-written 2 books which were published by Hodder Arnold, “Indian Head Massage in Essence” and “Ear Candling in Essence.” I have now got the rights back for these texts and "Ear Candling in Essence" has been completely revised and updated as "Ear Candling - The Essential Guide"

I am passionate about my work and through my therapy practise and my teaching I love to see others bloom and flourish. My favourite quote is "Find a job that you love and you will never have to work a day in your life". I vowed that one day I would feel this way about my job and can now honestly say that I do!
