Stephen Simac

Biography

I have been researching and writing about health and wellness for thirty five years. I have a masters degree in integral health studies, extensive knowledge of nutrition, supplements, exercise and years of practice in a variety of healing, recovery and stress reduction techniques. My focus is on individual and public wellness promotion and this book is the result of an idea for health care reform that prioritizes improving health rather than treating preventable illness and injury.

Smashwords Interview

What do you read for pleasure?
I read many types of books for pleasure, escape, relaxation, information and entertainment, and have dozens of favorite authors, but genres that I enjoy are historical fiction, crime fiction set in Florida, and those that feature certain geographic areas I've traveled or lived in. I like to read non-fiction on health and wellness, economic trends and sustainable solutions for transportation, housing, and society.
Describe your desk
My desk is in a corner of our living/dining/ sleeping room, with an apple IMac on it. It's my corner when I'm writing. Hate to be interrupted, since I only write for short stretches.
