When did you first start writing?
I first started writing when I was around 7 years old. One of my stories I wrote and illustrated was about a panda that goes for an adventure through the jungle and makes animal friends along the way. I was the odd kid who got excited about writing reports and essays.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The flexibility and creative freedom motivated me to become an indie author. I had a very clear vision of how the book was to be designed and how the cover should look. The book I wrote was so much a part of me that I couldn't fathom relinquishing that control over to a publisher.
The author uses her past experiences and mental health struggles as a compass to guide the reader toward self-love through reflections, journal prompts, guided meditations, rituals, and affirmations while tapping into the energy of the phases of the moon. Each section is designed to help the reader use their intuition to dive deep into their feelings, experiences, beliefs, and values.
