Irenia Guajardo
Biography
Irenia Guajardo was born in Salinas, California in 1976, Irenia has always wanted to be a writer with a natural gift of telling intricate stories since she was able to talk.
Since 1997, Irenia has gone through a series of obstacles, but she kept forging ahead to achieve her dreams. Irenia moved to Wisconsin in 2002, in hopes of some serious soul searching. In 2009, Irenia met the one person that made her see beyond all the pain and anguish. Finally in 2010, Illuminations of the Soul/Obscurities of the Heart, a collection of poetry that spanned a decade from 1998-2008 was E-published. In 2011, the hard copy was made available.
In 2011, Irenia decided returned back to Monterey County. Irenia continued to write. With completing 4-children story manuscripts, her first commissioned script, finishing Rejection, her script that she will be filming in 2014 and assisting Chris Warner’s Succubus: the Beginning, which was in several Independent Film Festivals at the Semi-Final level.
Thanks to her daughter for re-inspiring her into writing children stories, with Angela’s Adventures, Zombie Caterpillar, The little Maple Leaf, Timmy, the Vegetarian Werewolf
Currently Irenia resides in Los Angeles, California with her daughter, Serenity Joy, the creator of Zombie Caterpillar
