Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
I'm wrapping up a project I've been tinkering with for many years. It's a collection of six novellas based on apocalyptic beliefs popular during the 1960s. The narrator, Otis Otterbach, a gifted baseball pitcher, is lured by Casey, his best friend, into an epic quest to destroy Henry Tucker, a science and business genius. Behind all the drama is Cynthia Jones, Casey's mother, who persuades the boys Tucker is in league with the devil.

For background on Cynthia Jones, readers can go to my Tom Hickey novel, The Venus Deal.
What do your fans mean to you?
More than anything, they are a validation that I'm not crazy, that others appreciate the same kinds of stories, humor, ideas and characters I do.
