Hilux was born in Soweto, Johannesburg in 1990. Fascinated by literary fiction and booker prize winners from an early age, he focuses on telling intricate stories in an unconventional manner. He aims to be the first black South African Booker Prize Nice Skull Decoration is his first short novel.
