How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Truth be told (always), I've been a paperback/hardback reader most of my adult life. Wish I had been born in the 21st century - so many exciting things happening, including the ability to carry 1000 books in your shirt pocket!
What is your writing process?
The creator of the James Bond 007 character said he just let Bond take him wherever he wanted to go. For me, it's not much different.
When I write I'm either in the head of one of the characters, or I'm standing beside them, quietly observing as their individual stories reveal themselves.
It's fascinating to see the story, and sub-plots, unfold through the eyes of the characters - to vicariously experience what they're thinking and feeling.
Like 007, all of my characters take me wherever they want to go. Some of the places have been unexpected. As the book's readers travel with the characters, they'll understand what I mean.
In the first book (and the others I'm writing now), there is no single main character, and I've grown very fond of each of them. Unfortunately, not all will live to see the end of the trilogy.
