Howard Sidney (Sid) Thomas was born long ago in a land far away (well, Wales). He was brought up in a tough neighbourhood and became interested in music because he was afraid to go outside. He has performed in many different bands, enjoys accompanying singers and teaches one-to-one and in workshops. When he's not being a musician he is a research scientist and writer with special interests in genetics, food and the humanities.
