Hassen Saleh

I am the Director of Laboratory Services for the City of Chicago's water utility with a keen interest in environmental issues, especially the evolving water crisis in the world and its impact on societal stability. As a key player in our food supply, the bee makes a compelling protagonist in an imaginary novel that chronicles its struggle to assert itself in a competitive environment, showing us we can't afford to ignore its plight. "Fleeing the Synthetic Trap" reminds us the bees have a fascinating story to share with us and teach us about our finite world. The novel is my way of sharing with you a thought provoking story about bees that is entertaining and hopefully enlightening.
