Sadly I don't think I can give a very detailed review because It would give away to many spoilers. The story starts off where you might think you have missed something but as you read further you realize that one of the main characters is just as lost and thats the point and just the beginning! I feel a little lost though at the end like I missed something but then again maybe that's just what we have to wait for and I am hoping to read it soon. It was a fast passed story and one you have to pay attention to details or you will find yourself lost and having to go back and reread parts. Overall this was what I consider a great read even if it's not my normal genre. Will be looking for the next book.
  • Midnight Hunter Book One in the Midnight Hunter Trilogy on July 28, 2012

The Midnight Hunter This story is about a woman who meets a vampire who turns out to be her eternal partner. Very good story except I just did not like Donna. There was just something about her I found very annoying. I loved her best friend Mo, she just was a spunky woman who I guess I relate better too. Hunter was ok, a little odd in my opinion even for a vampire. I think everyone will love the other vampires, Trent and Dante though. It was a very good story that I think as the series continues will even get better. I was not as hooked with this one as I would have liked but that could be because I just did not like Donna, or her mother! I cannot wait to read the next book and see what happens next cause well I know it is going to be good. "I have received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review"
  • Dawn of the Hunter - Book Two on Aug. 02, 2012

Dawn of the Hunter- Book two in the Midnight Hunter Trilogy I was not very impressed with this second story, it seemed that alot of things just didn't add up. I believe the story line was good but it was missing too much to fill it out. I still don't like Hunter or Donna, but still love Mo and Howie. There was alot of little things that made this book not great in my opinion. Alot of people may not see it or over look them but to me it's very important, for instance Lucinda's growth but yet her grandfather sees none of this, or she is still sleeping in a basinet? The fighting scenes were not really impressive and was hard to imagine. The parts where Jacqueline was involved just threw me, is Donna really that pathetic? I could go on about her but like I said I really don't like her at all. The war was not any kind of war at all, it was a small little fight that was quickly over and ended just to easily. I know that alot more details could have went into this and wish it had. I still enjoyed it cause I like to read between the lines and see what could have been written in there. I know sometimes authors have to cut things and I truly hate that! So with that all being said, I am still glad to have had the chance to read this and will gladly read the final story. I again just believe that this story had alot more potential but was not put into it for whatever reason. "I have received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review"
