Imogen Barnacle


Imogen has a background in human services and has been employed by the University of Queensland’s Faculty of Science (predominately Biological Sciences) for over ten years. She is a member of the Queensland Writers Centre (QWC), the founder and CEO of the successful parenting website, an active blogger, as well as, and most importantly, a full-time mother of two.

She is a lover of life ... Of learning … Of understanding how the world feels to other people. Her aim is to provide mums, mums-to-be and those still deciding with friendly and practical parenting and pregnancy advice, tips and real world support and information.

She has an appreciation for all things that inspire or make us feel normal … And loves anything that is cute, stylish, delicious or ridiculous –as long as it makes her smile.
