I am an Australian psychologist with over 25 years experience assisting individuals and couples in a wide variety of settings. I spent 8 years as a Clinical Psychologist in Community Health, providing support to couples and families. I recently completed a 6-year consultancy with the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), providing psychological support to international employees and their families. A large component of this role was individual and couple counselling, both in Australia and overseas.
I have presented numerous training programs, educational presentations and workshops, both in Australia as well as in numerous overseas locations, for both Australian and multi-national staff. I was recognised with two official awards by the Government of Australia, the Medal of the Order of Australia for my work with survivors and families following the Bali bombing, as well as the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal for my support to survivors and their families following the Asian Tsunami crisis.
