Will Ballantyne

Biography

Will Ballantyne was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He is forty-eight years old and married with two young sons, and is now residing in England. Will has lived in several other countries working as a teacher, Ukraine and China among them.
While working in Lviv, Ukraine, he developed an interest in Ukrainian and Russian literature alongside a fondness for the culture and soul of the people. This informed the writing of his first novel, A Butterfly in Winter, which is set in Ukraine.
Literature-wise, his tastes range from the novels and short stories of Marcel Ayme as well as the Fantomas novels by Marcel Allain and Pierre Souvestre to authors such as Milan Kundera, Henry Miller and Dean Koontz .
Will has also written a children’s story called Dragonboys Forever.
