Observance of the Full Moon Fast of Satguru Kabir Saheb as explained to his chief disciple, Dharam Dass. When observed diligently, immense benefits are derived for the enhancement of spiritual life.
The original Devnagari script is given in Roman transliteration so readers may be able to approximate the pronunciations.
Brief notes on Satguru Kabir and Dharam Dass are included.
This pictorial book contains some of the significant events and miracles that aim to impart true spiritual teachings, and to remove hypocrisy and misunderstanding in religious practices. Since Satguru Kabir had a long life (1398 – 1518), this book contains only glimpses of his activity as the title indicates. Note that he was speaking to, and dealing with, both Hindus and Muslims.
Satguru Kabir: e-magazine vol1 issue1
on Feb. 24, 2013
This is the first issue of Satguru Kabir E-Magazine, and I am very happy to see it on the internet. It will now be available to people everywhere.
There are many people in the West, and also in other countries, that have not heard of Kabir. He is better known among scholars studying the religious/philosophical works of prominent Indian teachers, saints and Satgurus. Kabir's mysticism and stress on the realization of our connection with the Ultimate Reality is essential for our spiritual advancement. May all people now benefit from this magazine!
I commend all the contributors, and especially Raj Khuti for doing an excellent job with this first edition.
