John Dodds

Biography

I am the author of the Kendrick Chronicles crime novels trilogy (audiobooks published by Blackstone Audio, inc.). The first two books, Bone Machines and Kali's Kiss are narrated by Robin Sachs, and the third, Babylon Slide, is narrated by John Lee, who also narrates work by major writers like Jo Nesbo and George R.R. Martin. My stories have appeared in print, online and in podcast form, including in: "Breaking Windows: A Fantastic Metropolis Sampler (Prime Books); "Shorts V" (Polygon); The Horror Express Magazine; and the Pseudopod, StarshipSofa and Crimewav podcasts. I have a number of novels and novellas available through Amazon and elsewhere, and you can find them through my website.

    I've always loved the private eye and noir genre, and Whitey Roode is a tremendous addition to the pantheon of smart-mouthed PIs. The writing is punchy, the dialogue smart-assed and entertaining, and the plot moves at a great lick. Love it!
