Biography

James D.D. Smith is a former backhoe operator, ranch hand, balloon-wielding gorilla, bartender, waiter, production editor, hotelier and university professor. Born in raised in Canada, he has lived in a number of countries including an extended period in the United Kingdom, which holds a special place in his heart (a deep, dark place, but a place nonetheless). He lives with two cats, and probably has a family around the place as well.
