Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Gardening and chopping down trees with a chainsaw I find enormously therapeutic, and I love to play football and cricket - sports in general - with my kids. Often, I'll take Rollo, our wonderful long haired Dachtshund for a walk to the woods. For a dog with such short legs, he's surprisingly determined.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was awful.
Everyone died right at the beginning and, as I couldn't remember what the point of it was, I threw it away.
