OKay I just finished Insight by: Jamie Magee ... Not giving any spoilers. I feel it is well written just takes a while to get to the good parts. I gave it a 3 star rating but am interested enough in reading the second book in the series. It is a YA book and was actually pretty glade at the rating I would give a pg13 :) Which sounds funny but I have daughters and I read the YA books A.) Because I love them and B.) To make sure they are not to graphic. ~ that is my thoughts on this book right now.
Well written with twist and turns around each corner.. It will take Ava a while to trust anyone.. A half human/half Vamp..
The book starts off where she makes Cam her minion and wants to break it. She doesnt know her own strength and does not want to consume human blood but sometimes that just is not a choice.
I was recommended this book earlier this summer and was enthralled with the story line. It was beautifully written and the authors have provided a story that pulls at your heart for love and friendship.
Okay wow on this book very graphic and defiantly not for the faint of heart. I have read a lot of books in my time and I must say this book is very graphic and a well written fantasy world. The author has defiantly decided against being modest and used full visuals to get his point across from one scene to another. I would not call this book a easy read do to the flash backs that happen etc..
Book 2 should be just as thrilling to read.
The book had potential but the author just did not pull it all together. It is a good start but the book needs more work sadly to say :(. I read the whole book thinking it would get better but when it was all said and done I was greatly disappointed. It was just boring.
Veronica was an interesting character not figuring out what was going on before it was thrown in her face. At the beginning of the book she was just uncertain and wanting to stay out of the way of everybody. She did not take the time to try to figure things out even with clues and answers all around her. At the end of the book she is still shy and wants to stay out of the way but becomes a stronger character. The little love story is a nice little twist but not the main focus of the story which was a wonderful surprise. I hope there is a second book :)
