What's the story behind your latest book?
It's a 30 day guidebook for addicts and alcoholics to help them navigate through the strom of recovery. This is something my clients asked me to do because once they got out of jail they had nowhere to turn to stay clean.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Smashwords has very good reviews in the writing community. I was attracted by the fact that the founder had difficulty publishing his book and created a pleasant publishing experience for authors. I like that you have total control over what you publish and don't have to settle by changing your manuscript to fit in with publishers.
30 Days to Keep You Sober is a support tool for addicts and or alcoholics that are looking for guidance to stay clean and sober. This book includes first-hand accounts of real people and their personal struggles with addictive personalities. It is the kind of book that offers readers a realistic outlook on why people struggle with pain that leads to addictive behavior.
