Jared Brown

Biography

Jared W. Brown, PsyD, was raised in mid-city Los Angeles, an area rife with crime and gang activity. This exposure to urban life as a teenager later sparked his interest in helping street youth.

He completed a B.A. in Psychology at San Francisco State University in 1965. The transition from college to the U.S. Marines Corps during the Vietnam era provided further exposure to human behavior and a broadened his insight into the painful plight of human kind.

In 1968, he took a position as a Juvenile Probation Officer and worked with the State of Utah as a Rehabilitation Counselor. In 1978, he became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He continued his education, eventually earning a doctorate in Psychology..

Throughout his years 25 as a licensed therapist, Dr. Brown has encountered trials in his personal and professional life and used these experiences in the process of spiritual and professional growth.

His book, Million Dollar Man, helps others gain insight and become well equipped to face their own challenges.
