In 1968, he took a position as a Juvenile Probation Officer and worked with the State of Utah as a Rehabilitation Counselor. In 1978, he became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He continued his education, eventually earning a doctorate in Psychology..
Throughout his years 25 as a licensed therapist, Dr. Brown has encountered trials in his personal and professional life and used these experiences in the process of spiritual and professional growth.
His book, Million Dollar Man, helps others gain insight and become well equipped to face their own challenges.
In Million Dollar Man, a phone call from a neighbor reporting a suspicious character at his home sends Jared Brown, a family man and Christian psychologist to jail and other places on the outskirts of hell, where he finds a path to redemption for himself and others. A true story of trials and deliverance.
