When I first read the description of this book, I was under the impression that it was going to be a fantasy/romance along the lines of Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" series which I loved. However, the fantasy aspect wasn't really as strong as I had hoped. I had a really difficult time relating to and empathizing with the characters because they were not fleshed out very well and seemed somewhat flat. Because of this, I really didn't care what happened to Catherine or Eryn.
"Again" is a valiant effort, but I needed more. I am giving the book a 2 star rating, but I would like to see more from this writer. I think she has some great plot ideas, but just needs a little more polishing.
