In his professional career, he has held various positions within customer service and catastrophe response management. In 2015, he founded, as a resource tool to help teach and guide others through the complex and convoluted world of personal finance.

In his personal life Jesse lives in Ponte Vedra, FL, with his wife and son. He enjoys studying finance, fitness, and playing music.
