JC Bybee

Biography

I was born in a small town, raised in an even smaller town. After serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I went to Brigham Young University. There I met my beautiful wife, who moved us to Iowa. When not frantically trying to get ideas on page I like to exercise, and practice Historical European Martial Arts. Eventually I might even consider having a blog page, but mostly my Facebook page is the best place to keep track of my goings on.

Smashwords Interview

What is your writing process?
Pray for guidance and then sit at the keyboard and work. I'm more of a linear writer. Most of my work goes from point A to point B and then to point C. I don't outline or anything like that. I have an idea and I start putting it to words. And I have to find the right music to listen to while working. The music varies from story to story.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was when I was in third grade. We made plaster masks and had to write a story for the character. Mine was a dragon. It was then that I decided I wanted to be a writer.
