JONATHAN AUSTEN is the author of the children’s middle-grade adventure series A Tale of Hope and Adventure. He also writes short story fiction and is working on a young adult series titled The Crystal Kingdom.
He was born and raised in Waltham, Massachusetts. At the age of twenty-eight, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where he has enjoyed the sun ever since. For the past thirty years, he has worked as an IT professional building web applications.
Jonathan loves animals. He has rescued dozens in his life, including his latest two cats, Mac and Tosh. When he is not coming up with new adventures, he spends his free time hiking, reading, and exercising daily.
