Smashwords Interview

What is your e-reading device of choice?
I like the iPad.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I worked in education for 27 years as a teacher, principal, and curriculum director. Upon retirement I began consulting with school districts, mostly as an administrative mentor and presenter on standards-based grading. One day George Manilla, a local doctor, approached me about going into business with him to help dyslexics learn his system known as Penny Power. I was familiar with Dr. Manilla and his work with dyslexics in our community, and I jumped at the opportunity. Dr. Manilla had already written a book on his system, Dyslexia: A Reading & Writing Correction Method. This book is a little too technical for my taste, and I felt it would be better to have a book for parents and teachers that was easy to follow and step-by-step of the system.
