Joseph J. Dionisio has taught creative writing at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York, and also taught English at Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah. He has received fellowships in journalism from Syracuse University and the University of Oregon, as well as being awarded an NDEA fellowship by the State University of New York College at Brockport.
