Jeannie Palmer

At the tender young age of nineteen, Jeannie was fostering children for the State of Utah. That was her first indication that she could, in some small way, help children. The children she fostered came from broken homes, alcohol and drug use or physical abuse, and it was her position to bring these children to a healthy level where they could either return home or be placed in a safe and permanent home.

Over the course of fostering children, she was able to witness their growth as they evolved from low self-esteem to a healthy self-esteem. She knew that her work with these children really needed to be taken to another level. It was then that Jeannie decided to continue helping children learn ways to feel good about them.

In her choice to write children's books, it's her goal to reach out and share a message with children that no matter what challenges they may face in life, they can, and will, get through them.

Her writings include a full length historical romance novel and a non-fiction manuscript of generations within her family sharing anecdotes, recipes and traditions. As an expert author in Ezine articles, her subject matters have included articles on automobile insurance coverage, health and beauty and natural remedies for pets.

It is her ultimate goal to continue writing uplifting books for young children in the hope that she will make a positive difference in their lives.
