J.B. Smith

Biography

I was born, and grew up in New England, it will always be home. I have written and continue writing stories both short and long. Thank God for short stories, they got me through English Lit in high school. Gotta love extra credit. The hardest thing I find about writing is finding the time, having to get up and go to work, while it pays the bills, and I am thankful for that, really gnaws away at the day until only the night is left.

I live in Maine with my wife who is also my editor and I couldn’t do this without her. Along with three Boston Terriers, three cats and two horses, now you see why finding time to write is tough.

This is the first story that I have published, and I do hope that you enjoyed it. I look forward to entertaining you again as they produce. Really that is what I find that they do, they produce themselves whirling around within my head, and then it is just a matter of time until they wend their way to my fingertips.
