Jeff Williams began his fiction writing career after several decades of technical investigations and factual report writing as a forensic engineer.

His work in accident reconstruction and fire origin & cause determinations has taken him across the United States, Guatemala, and the Caribbean.

Many of the circumstances in "Burning of the Devil" were closely based on true events and actual experiences.
