Biography

J.A. Jorgenson is a former Managing Editor of several magazines, an avid crafter, and a wife and mother. She lives with her husband and three sons in Orlando, FL. She says writing has been her passion her whole life, and she is happy to finally have her work out there for the world to see.

Describe your desk

I like to write my book in Google docs. That way I can be writing on my ipad (I have the keyboard attachment) in a comfy chair, or I can open it on my full-size mac when I'm concentrating on corrections.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

I grew up in Northbrook, IL, which isn't far from the setting of my first novel. Even though I now live in Orlando, I use quite a bit of my Chicagoland knowledge in my writing.
