This book is several short ghostly stories. I could not put this book down! I am a believer and have my own experiences, which made me love these stories even more. It gave me goosebumps! Reminder: do not read before bed. I am glad to know that their are other people that believe and are brave enough to share those experiences with us. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to know what it feels like to encounter ghost, because the author makes you feel as if you are right there with her. Thanks Willow for a great read and sharing your frightening experiences with us.
  • S.P.I.R.I.T: Fire Storm on April 25, 2012

I am in love with this book and not ashamed to say that I have found a new book crush. Zander Smith is a member of the S.P.I.R.I.T Team (Special Paranormal Investigative Research Intelligence Team) and has a electrifying personality, the total swoon package. As he is on a mission, his path collides with Samantha Ricketts, who is hot as fire and has no idea how she got there and why. Zander vows to help her solve her mystery and soon finds that the two of them being drawn to each other in that moment was more than just a coincidence. As their journey begins, they feel as if they have a connection, one stronger than the elements, which is strange considering they just met, or is it? This storyline is filled with suspense, thrill, hot romance, and paranormal activity that is off the map. It had me on the edge of my seat, chills up and down my spine, covered in goosebumps. I couldn't put this book down, I had to know what happened next, page after page I found myself wanting more. I highly recommend this book to anyone that has the urge for a story that will blow you away. I can't wait to read more about The S.P.I.R.I.T Team and their ghostly adventures.
  • Afterlife on April 27, 2012

This short takes place before the events in "Birthright", but can be read before or after and still be an enjoyable read. I fell in love with the characters in "Birthright" especially William and Angie and would have loved to know more about them and how they met . You can imagine I was a little more than excited to find out that "Afterlife" is their story. The story starts of with William fighting with himself over the situation he has gotten into this time. After evaluating the issue, he attempts to solve the problem, numerous times to say the least. Concentrating on the matter at hand, he fails to realize he is being watched until he is taken off guard by the laughter that fills the air. This is where the journey begins and laughs never end. There are also several other characters from "Birthright" , that I loved, that also have roles to play in this adventure, but I will let you read it and find out who and why. I highly recommend this great read to everyone that loved "Birthright" and those who haven't had a chance to yet. A must read!
  • The Guest on May 02, 2012

The Guest is a short story about the angel of death. It can be read alone or along with The Chosen Chronicles series. The story takes place in a Buddhist Monastery. As secretive as they are, by my surprise, the have welcomed a certain guest for a few years now. This guest is there to take on a job that is a matter of life or death. I would call this guest different, but that would still be an understatement. If you would like to find out who the guest really is and what the mission is at the monastery, grab your free copy at smashwords. This is the first book I have read by this author and loved it. I look forward to reading more in The Chosen Chronicles.
  • Dawn of the Hunter - Book Two on May 15, 2012

This is book 2 of The Midnight Hunter Trilogy. I loved this book as much, if not more, than the first one. As you know from book 1, Donna has a real niche for getting herself into a pickle, and continues to do so in this book. I am glad to say, she has become less naive and has actually grown a pair, thanks to my new favorite character, Howie. Oh Howie, he is such a bad ass with all his demonic dismay. He is one of a kind, kicking ass and taking names kind of guy, and may be the end of all humanity as we know it. All Donna wants is to live a normal family life, but who knew to do so, she must first save them and possibly save the world. This book is a real soul snatcher! I can't wait to read the final book in the trilogy and see if Donna will finally get her happily ever after, or if it will all end in a nightmare!
  • Tempting Fate on May 18, 2012

I don't even know where to start about how much I enjoyed this book. This book tore at my emotions, from warm fuzzies to complete melt down of tears! The only thing I found wrong with the book, the story ended before I wanted it to. Abigail never knew that dreams could be so surreal, until the ones she recently started having. They were so real, she started to feel guilty for having them, considering that the man in her dreams were not her husband. As the dreams continue, she begins to wonder if they really are just dreams. Has she actually experienced these events, is her dream man real? Abby finds herself facing fate head on, but what plans does fate have planned for her? I highly recommend this book to anyone that has found love, lost love, and to those that believe love conquers all. I can only hope to see more work by this author soon!
  • A Higher Calling on June 05, 2012

I was lucky to read this awesome book before it was released! This is the first fiction book the author has written in the first person, but her creative writing is just as great, if not better. Warning, this book is not YA, as most of you Willow fans are use to. I love the idea that she ventured out of her genre and did this book. It just shows that Willow is full of surprises and you never know what she might come up with next. I loved it! Sophie comes to find herself having to choose one of the hardest choices a mother/woman should have to make. The question is, which choice will she choose, and will it be the right one? If you are a huge Willow fan, like myself, you will not hesitate to get your hands on this book. It will leave you wanting more, and you will cheer, cry, and fear right along with Sophie and her life decisions. I can't wait to see what happens next. The next book can not be release fast enough!
  • Final Hour of the Hunter Book Three in The Midnight Hunter Trilogy on July 06, 2012

I was given a e-copy in exchange for my honest review, but would have gladly purchased a copy. The author hasn't failed me yet at keeping me in a trance with her writing and I am sure she never will. Thing have changed for Donna and the gang since the last book. Life has been normal, well as normal as it can be with friends and family like Donna's. But life can't stay a walk in the park forever, unless the park is full of crazy people with weapons and a attitude from hell. Donna becomes cursed by chaos and chaos by any other name is, well.....a B***H! Donna has also grown and has learned to take care of things herself. She decides to take this situation in her own hands and refuses to bow down to chaos. Which basically means she has thrown everyone to the wolves, are in the situation, the hellhounds. People go missing, friends become enemies, and enemies become alliances in a blink of an eye. It is up to Donna to regain order to the hell created on earth. Everyone has to play the game of life, but no one knows which team each are playing on. There can only be one winner, but who will be on the winning side that survives complete chaos? Loved the book!!! Unfortunately, it is the last book in the trilogy. I could read about the crazy and wild characters forever, but all good things must come to an end at some point. I hear rumor that there will be a spin off and I can hardly wait. As long as she keeps writing, I will continue to read whatever she creates. An author worth following!!!
  • Bandits on Aug. 10, 2012

Bandits is written for ages 12 and up, it had the adult in me interested and the kid in me excited for the adventure from beginning to end. It is sci-fi genre, which isn't my norm, but I am a sucker for pirates of any type. Daniel's father Rayne is always leaving messes for him to clean up, but this time, Rayne got himself killed. Daniel and his brother Nickel now on the run from the kings officials and whomever killed their father for an unknown treasure. The only thing they have to guide them is the journals their father left for them. They set out to find this treasure and are accompanied by their cousin Faulk and Daniel's best friends sister Jade. They soon find that this treasure not only got Rayne killed, but may be the end of them and their planet Merwin. There are many obstacles for them to overcome and their time is running out. The book is filled with adventure, twists, and turns. The characters and storyline are amazing and the descriptive details are out of this world. This authors style is beyond creative. I am a proud owner of an e-copy and print of this book.
  • Spectrum on Aug. 10, 2012

This is a short story about Damon and his brother Tony. They are Spectrums, but haven't always been that way. There was and unusual incident that gave them their powers and it is their job to clean up what the world has become. A great short read. I could see it being expanded into a great book. I hope to see more work from this new author.
  • The Bloodstone Oracle on Aug. 16, 2012

This is the second companion in the Dark Gifts Series. The book takes place two centuries before the great Immortal Battle. Great lengths are taken to protect a ancient magical bloodline from extinction, but will it be enough? It all comes down to believing promises made by strangers and the fate that has already been put into play. Will a glimpse into to future be enough to guide them on the right path? A great add to the Dark Gifts series. A must read for true fans. I will give you that extra piece to the puzzle that holds the hidden truth. I have read all of the Dark Gifts Series so far, and I love them all. The author continues to amaze me and always leaves me wanting more. The next book in the series can't come fast enough!

  • Haunted II on Oct. 01, 2012

I was lucky to receive an advanced copy from the author for my honest review. This is the second installment to the Haunted Collection. If you were spooked by Haunted I, this installment will make the hairs on your neck stand up and question every noise you hear at night. Willow has once again given me chills with the 100% true ghost stories. A must read for those who like a good spook. Originally posted on The Mystical World of Book Reviews
  • Compulsion on Nov. 09, 2012

I purchased a copy of the book when it was first release. I later found out that the author was working on a revised version of the book, so I decided to wait and read it when it was re-released. I was given a copy of the re-released version in exchange for my honest review. This copy has been re-edited and has had some extras throw in. I did notice a few editing errors, but in no way did it take away from the story. Lilyann is living the average life of juggling school, work, shopping, and getting over a bad boyfriend choice, while staying pumped by her favorite coffees. That is until the day that she gets a call that her grandmother has passed away. She returns home not knowing that this event will change her life in more ways than she ever expected. Not only had her grandmother passed away, but it turns out that it was no accident and that her and most of her family have been kept in the dark from the truth of who her grandmother really was....a witch. Now Lilly and her family have to step up and take their place in the world of magick and the supernatural with nothing to guide them, but last letters from her grandmother and a few books. Will the information they have, and the strength of the family combined be enough to prepare the Moon Coven for the battle of their lives? A great YA read filled with magick, suspense, love, family, vampires, ghosts, and few extras. I can't wait to read about the Moon Covens next magical journey. • Ghost Diaries, Case #1- Sarah Beth Hawkins on Dec. 18, 2012

I was given an e-copy in exchange for my honest review. This is the first, in many to come, episodic short stories in the Ghost Diaries Series. This short revolves around Taija Ford. Some time after her fathers death, she starts going thru his belongings and comes across mounds of files that are filled with journals and letters. The first that she stumbles upon dates back to the late 1800's and is about a young girl that seems to be attacked by something of the paranormal. She notices notes are jotted down in this journal in her fathers handwriting. Suspicious of what secret life her father had, she starts her own investigations, one of the journals, and the other to find out the truth about her father and how he ties into all of this. I loved this adult paranormal read. I could not put it down! The author has several paranormal writings under her belt, but this one is far different from the rest. Looks like we are getting to see another peek at what this author can do. I can't wait to read more of this series. I am hooked. Warning: Adult read! Contains adult language and adult situations. • Harvest Moon on Dec. 19, 2012

I was given and e-copy in exchange for my honest review. This is a Moon Coven Series Novella (sort of a companion). The story is told by Lochlan Moon. It starts off in the time of the present, but then continues in a flashback of when he was seventeen years old. Some family secrets are revealed, which puts everything in the present into perspective. I really loved this book and could go on and on about it, but since it could be read alone, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone that hasn't read the other books in the series. I recommend reading, in this order: Haunted Moon, Compulsion, then Harvest Moon, so you have better aspect of the characters and the storyline. Once you start reading about The Moon Coven, you will be under their spell. Once a member of The Moon Coven, always a member. I look forward to reading more in this magical series. • Once Upon a Zombie Apocalypse - Kylee on March 31, 2013

*Adult Read* This is Kylee's version of what events took place the day the Zombie Apocalypse started. This installment of the series is great. Kylee is a kick butt diva that comes up with some real zingers even though she is out to get eaten. Zombie's on the plane is not the worst thing that can happen in a day, right? Zombies and Kylee's wardrobe don't stand a chance. I totally recommend this to anyone that likes kicking zombie butt and laughing your butt off.
