Murder on Everest (A Summit Murder Mystery)

I found “Murder on Everest” to be a murder mystery, thriller and action adventure all rolled into one. I like a book that keeps moving and is exciting. It was a wild ride for sure. It’s also full of details about mountaineering, which I know little about, but found surprisingly interesting. I can only imagine what it must be like to travel to the Himalayas and yet in a way I feel like I have through the book. The authors did a great job of placing me as the reader “on location” and in the middle of the action. I plan to read the next novel in the series, “Murder on Elbrus” and see if Scott Devlon can survive another trip to one of the Seven Summits.

Some of my favorite characters from Murder on Everest join Scott Devlon for this fast-paced adventure in Murder on Elbrus. This time the action is in Russia; a really interesting place with a rich history. Scott once again finds himself in the middle of a murder scene with plenty of likely suspects. Who would murder the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia? How? Why? The action kept me reading all the way to the end.
