I LOVE this book! It's one of those you keep thinking about after you're done reading it because you feel like you know the characters, like they're people from your own life. I like that the main character isn't a "typical" heroine. She has scars, faults and she isn't always perfect and nice- she's figuring things out as she goes along, like the rest of us. The book is like life, too, alternately funny, smart, a little sad. She has annoying relatives. (I can relate!) I found this book when I was looking for books about TBI & I was honestly nervous about reading it because I have some experience in the field, but she must have done months of research, I didn't see anything wrong at all. There are a few sex scenes. Not too,too graphic, but it's perfectly clear what's going on. Not a lot of swearing in the book, a few "f-words" used in emotional moments. "Adult themes", like they say in movie land. My favorite things: the price :), Dr. G, the dog, and the end, which doesn't leave you hanging, because I truly hate that.
