Jenny Rarden
Biography
Jenny is a born-and-bred Oklahoma girl who moved to Kansas when she got married. After living in four other cities/towns around the state, she's finally settled just across the state line from Kansas City, MO, with her husband, son, and their two rescue pets: Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkie) dog Luna and Siamese mix cat Skye.
She's always been a big reader. Some of her fondest memories are of her childhood trips to the library on the weekend with her mom. From Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys to the "New Release" shelves, she fell in love with murder and detective mysteries, and she still loves the quick reads of the Harlequin romances (but in true mystery-lover fashion, most of the time they are Intrigues!).
Jenny loves being a wife and mom, and in addition to being a voracious reader, she’s also passionate about being a writer and editor. She began writing at an early age—a poem she wrote earned her a spot in a national poetry publication—but only truly started writing when she became a fan of both the Stephanie Plum and Twilight book series and needed more. You can find her books on Amazon and/or Smashwords. She also enjoys editing other people’s work, from fanfiction to original fiction. Being able to combine her love of grammar and attention to detail as an editor gives her great joy.
Her other love is television. For fourteen years, she's had a blog where she posts weekly and daily TV shows, TV recommendations, and the occasional news, reviews, and even interviews.
