I was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in the surrounding moss covered Low-country . Now retired with my wife, Laura, I like to travel, spend time with children and grandchildren, and try to write an occasional novel. I write in a simple style, maybe even homespun, and with a bit of coziness, not prone to blood and gore. I believe the main purpose of a good novel is enjoyment and entertainment. And if it promotes a comfort food feeling as well, then I am happy. Such is the Jamey Hart Adventure Series. Hope you enjoy!
Teen Jamey Hart encounters the ghost of a previous mentor in a dream, and she asks for his help. When he agrees, he becomes the target of ruthless people and must trust Miss Lucy's supernatural powers to protect him. He becomes friends with local detective Grady Pruunes to fight crime.
A teen boy comes of age while battling poverty, a broken home, and much more. He sees the good, bad, and ugly of life, and comes away grinning. He's ready for better though, and says, "Any way is up. I'm runnin' on empty."
Grady Pruunes is promoted to County Detective and begins his new job with a bang. Eleven dead people, a kidnapping, and a flying saucer. There's help from Marshal Linc Moore, young Jamey Hart, and his supernatural friend, Miss Lucy. Something is discovered which is so evil that Miss Lucy says, "Don't tell Jamey!"
Can an angel work through a teen boy to help a detective solve kidnappings and murders? Can she keep Jamey safe from the cornered murders wrath? Will justice ever prevail in a small southern town. Jamey and detective Grady Pruunes seem helpless at times. There's a witch and ghost and an angel. And, oh yes, THERE'S KARMA!
