Jakub Jermář obtained his Masters degree in Computer Science from Charles University in Prague in 2007. He has worked as a software engineer for Sun Microsystems, Oracle and now works as a researcher in Avast Software. He is a co-author of the HelenOS research operating system. In 2013 he became accidentaly involved in translating the European Federalist Papers into Czech and in 2014 he edited and published the same Papers on Smashwords as an eBook. Jakub lives with his two sons and wife in a small town southwest of Prague.
