I live in Arkansas with my lovely husband and daughter. I have been a great lover of books and writing from a very early age. I started writing my own stories as a very young child. My grandmothers read romances and often gave me a box full of books they'd read. My mother is a voracious reader and taught me to love the written word, as well. I believe that reading about strong characters will help people to grow as individuals and discover ways to make their own lives better.
Who are your favorite authors?
Nora Roberts, Jude Deveraux, Olivia Thorne, Danika Dark, Melody Anne, Ruth Cardello, Lauren Dane. Those are my favorite contemporary authors. I have many others that I enjoy reading, too. I am always reading something.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I don't know if I'm exactly inspired. We recently got a puppy and she wakes me up every morning at about 6:00. Shortly after that, I'm taking care of the puppy's breakfast and other needs, while I make my green tea. I usually make my husband's coffee while I'm doing that, then I start waking up my daughter for school. It's a little chaotic, but it's our routine and it works.
